I promise I will tell you
of the strength you hold,
remind you of your beauty,
even when your gray and old.

I promise I will tell you
even when life hurts,
there is a lesson to be learned,
and joy that makes starbursts.

I promise I will tell you
who you are is meant to be,
unto you what’s been done,
is not all the world can see.

I promise I will tell you
you have got this
and no matter what
you CAN do this!

I promise I will tell you,
as I face you in the mirror
you have always been enough
now stop staring in the mirror!
